So this is how we bring our groceries home- RIGHT IN THE SHOPPING CART.  We leave the shopping cart outside the door and it’s the supermarkets responsibility to pick it up.  Everything in this country is about convenience, living like a king!  Basically if we asked to have a supermarket boy, “Carry our bags home.”  Without hesitation he would do it!!! At first all of these concepts seemed a bit odd, but then you strangely find yourself adapting to them.. that’s when you have those type of thoughts hmmm….. I could get used to this.

These malls are massive.  Amazing architecture and adornments all over the mall make each mall so special. If you live here, you find yourself in the malls quite often.  I even visited four malls in one day once.  Especially when the weather turns to the extreme heats  of summer, the malls are the best option for a stroll.

SKI DUBAI!!!!!!! Indoor skiing right next to the cheesecake factory.. yes this is still located in the Mall of the Emirates.

This is festival city… They have an outdoor carnival for the kids, a ton of yachts, a huge mall with a little river running between the mall and restaurants with gondola rides.. kinda like the Venetian in Vegas.

Welcome to Barasti.  During the day you can lounge on their beach chairs and enjoy the beautiful views of Dubai.  Or come at night and have a blast as it turns into a night club.  There is an indoor area that is more like a pub, an outdoor area lounge for shisha, and an outdoor area right on the beach with a dj for a good night of dancing.

Night out in the Souk… The Souk (means marketplace in Arabic).  It is located right outside the Dubai mall, walk past the Dubai fountains, et Voila! A souk of nice restaurants and bars to choose from.

We stayed at the Souk way too late….we had to walk through the Dubai mall after it had closed to get to the car.. These malls are huge like I stated earlier, therefore could you imagine being in the Dubai mall with no one else in it…. very very very weird and creepy.
