My favorite fruit guy at Spinneys warned me not to try these… and of course I did not listen… Yuck

I thought this was a fruit?? But its not… When you first bite into it, it tastes like a cantaloupe then it finishes like a tomato… It was beyond bazar and truthfully the most god awful thing I have ever tried.

So what did I do?? I made everyone else I know try it, just to make sure I wasn’t being too hard on it 😉

Robin agreed.. Gross.. thats 2 nothing for the Tamarillo.

So Robin asked her husband to try it….

and I think his reaction speaks for itself… 3 nothing Tamarillo.. Sorry but I wouldn’t even wish my worst enemy to have to endure this nasty it of nature….If you happen to be walking around Australia and sees this “thing” on a tree.. leave it there!!! DO NOT TRY IT!!!

If you know how to make this any better through a recipe .. please share your thoughts and ideas I’m willing to give this “tamarillo thing” a second chance.. I don’t think my friends are though..
